Facilities

Facilities is a Power BI app designed to show information about community/health facilities across Te Manawa Taki. It shows the following information:
- Map of facility and facility type
- Facility metadata where available (phone, website, address)
- Facility type (services offered).
Configuration[edit | edit source]
The app is published to the 'PBIAiga' mail-enabled security group, which consists of leadership team members and team leads. Broader organisational access is not yet enabled due to Power BI licence costs.
Technical information[edit | edit source]
Data source is the 'Facility code table' data made available by Te Whatu Ora.[1]
Therefore, the scope of this data is health facilities only and geographical scope is limited based on the 'DHB' flag contained in the data set. The upstream data is updated at least monthly, but there is no automated refresh process yet in place for this app.
